HEADLINER + HYPE MAN by TAEBAE, limited edition 1/67, two pack
Two original pieces by TAEBAE @taybae.wav, printed on acoustic fabric and set in our patent pending acoustic frames. Both frames are included. Only 67 of each will ever be printed, and each one comes with a certificate of authenticity. One is waiting in the wings, purple hair catching the spotlight. The other is kicked back in a white sweater, grinning through gold teeth while the flowers bloom behind him. Same artist, same easy energy. Hang them up and let the room settle down.
It works like a recording studio panel. Inside each frame is 2" Owens Corning 703, the same absorber pro sound studios use, rated NRC (Noise Reduction Coefficient) 1.0: it absorbs nearly all the sound that reaches it, nearly three times what a typical 1 inch foam tile does. Hang them as sound absorbing wall art in a living room, home office, bedroom, podcast room or home studio to soften echo and make every voice sound cleaner.
Measured performance. We tested our acoustic frames in a studio environment with calibrated microphones. In a 10×10 ft room, one 24×36 art piece cuts harsh echo by about 10%. This pair, a 24×36 and a 24×24, takes it down an estimated 15%, and three frames take it down 25% and make voices noticeably clearer. Sound bounces off every wall, so one frame is a statement piece; two or three is when the room actually changes. That is the case for the pair over a single: two frames catch close to twice the sound, and on two different walls they catch reflections one frame never touches. This two pack gets you there in one order, for $100 less than buying both separately.
Where to hang the pair. Sound bounces back and forth between walls, so these two perform best acoustically on opposing walls or on the two walls of a corner, where they catch reflections coming from different directions. Side by side above a sofa still looks great and still works; splitting them up works harder.
