Underneath, The Muted Frame works like a recording studio panel. Inside is Owens Corning 703, the same absorber pro studios use. The sculpted felt on the face adds a second layer, scattering and diffusing sound the way soft, uneven surfaces do in nature. Hang it to soften echo, cut harsh room noise, and make every call and recording sound cleaner.

Measured performance. We tested our acoustic frames in a studio environment with calibrated microphones. In a 10×10 ft room, one 24×24 art piece cuts harsh echo by about 5%. Three take it down nearly 20% and make voices noticeably clearer. One frame makes the room sound better, two or three makes you say "wow it sounds better."
